INTRODUCTION TO NETWORK SECURITY Prerequisite: CET 2486C This course covers a broad overview of security topics related to information security including: cryptography, security baselines, and current attack and coutner attack methods. The course covers methods to secure communications. Web security and hardening the Network infrastructure. It also teaches the student to develop comprehensive security and management policies. It looks at both Windows and Linux security techniques for hardening the operating system. The objectives of this course are mapped to Comptia's Security + Certification Exam. (Special Fee:$34.00)
