ADVANCED JAVA PROGRAMMING Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in COP 2800. A continuation of COP 2800. Students will learn advanced concepts of programming in Java. The topics in the Sun Microsystems certification will be completed at the beginning of this course and students will be encouraged to take the exam. Additionally, web-based programming using JEE (Java Enterprise Edition) is introduced and specific topics in JEE are covered in depth, especially Java Server Pages (JSP) and servlets. Database access in Java and N-Tier architectures are covered. (Special Fee: $34.00)
