PROGRAMMING WIRELESS APPLICATIONS Prerequisites: COP 2823 or COP 2830 This course exposes students to a variety of architectures, tools and environments for building wireless applications. Topics inclue: Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), Wireless Markup Languages (WML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), micro-browsers, WAP Gateways, WAP Servers, WML Script, Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML), server-side scripting Java and Active Server Pages (ASP). Students will build wireless applications and dissect the code of existing wireless applications (Special Fee: $34.00)
