Description:

Introduction to VBA is designed to pick up where most advanced Microsoft Word courses leave off--the study of Visual Basic for Applications, the powerful macro programming language of Microsoft Word. This course will introduce you to computer programming through a simple document automation exercise. Working hand-in-hand with your instructor and fellow students, you'll use this exercise to investigate the basics of object-oriented programming, the Microsoft Word object model, write code to control the text and data content and to automate production of your documents. This course is ideal for you if you're a Microsoft Word user and you're responsible for producing high-quality, data-dependent documents in volume, or you need customizable document automation on a budget. It is also highly useful if you want to begin learning the Visual Basic for Applications programming language in a familiar environment.
