Linus+ is an entry-level certificate program, developed by CompTIA, which measures vendor-neutral Linux knowledge and skills for an individual with at least six months practical experience (Network+ or A+ background). The online Linus+ Certification Preparation course will prepare students to write the CompTIA Linux+ exam, and the course is mapped directly to the certification objectives. Students learn about networking, printing, shell scripting, the X-Window system, and backup. They will know how to control processes, understand the role of the kernel, manage hard drives, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
