Third course in the five-part Purchasing Series. This course focuses on 'a day in the life of the purchasing department.' Specifically, the inner-workings are examined as Purchasing plans and executes to meet requirements. The use of the computer in purchasing is a focus area. Purchasing basics (requisitions, purchase orders, negotiation, expediting) are addressed.
