This course teaches the most commonly used medical reports in a healthcare facility: history and physical report, request for consultation, radiology report, discharge summary, operative report, pathology report, death summary, and autopsy report. Student transcribes tapes and learns medical terminology, formats for transcribing reports, specialized rules of grammar, and punctuation unique to dictated medical records. SELF-PACED COURSE
