CYBER SECURITY FUNDAMENTALS Prerequisite: CET 2179C and CET 2486C This course provides the essential information required to serve as the foundation for entry into the Cyber Security and Digital Forensics specialization. The course engages the student with numerous network security and digital forensics-related labs designed to introduce concepts and develop techniques essential for success in this track. Hands-on, in-class exercises are conducted in both Microsoft Windows and Linux environments. Emphasis is made in the use of both closed and open-source operating systems and security-related utilities. (Special Fee: $20.00)
