Description:
Experience in geologic mapping is stressed. Field work is done in sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks. Includes three weeks mapping in northwest Wyoming, one week on a field trip through Yellowstone and the Tetons, and two weeks mapping in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Prerequisite: GEOL 201, 204 and 205.
