The fossil record, evolution, morphology, adaptation and paleobiogeography of fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. The interactions of vertebrates with ancient flora, climates and plate configurations will be emphasized. Lecture/Laboratory. Same as GEOL 309. Must be taken as BIOL 309 for credit toward major. Offered alternate years. Prerequisite: GEOL 103 or BIOL 195.
