This course analyzes the scientific process with emphasis on its applicatoin in nursing. The research process will be presented as well as the major research approaches; data collection methods; measurement and sampling; and communication in research process. Students will review and criticize selected examples of nursing research. Students will design a small study which has implications for the improved practice of nursing.
