Topics covered in this course will include: manual handling and material storage; mechanical injuries; industrial environmental hazards-solvents, particulate, noise, radiatin, toxicology, and ergonomics, etc.; monitoring instruments; protective devices; industrial hygiene programs and safety practice in the use of basic hand and machine tools, with reference to OSHA, and other regulatory safety regulations. OSHA 30 hours general industry safety and health course completion cards will be issued on course attendance.
