Laboratory experiments and report writing in the following areas: weirs, orifices, nozzles, Manning's roughness coefficient, the Parshall flume, hydraulic jumps and water surface profiles in open channels, Pitot tubes, energy and hydraulic grade lines, viscosity, the momentum theorem, Reynold's laminar-turbulent flow experiment, buoyancy and metacentricity, Darcy's friction factors and Hazen-Williams coefficients, minor losses, parallel pipes, pipe networks, pump and turbine efficiency curves, hydrostatic forces and center of pressure, electrical flow analogy, water hammer, time needed to empty tanks.
