(CSET-242, MATH-315 or Permission of Instructor). Advanced Survey Practicum will familiarize the student with the use of modern surveying equipment. This course is strongly laboratory oriented. All laboratory work will be at night in six hour blocks. Celestial observations on most major stars for azimuth and position will be performed. Control surveys will be carried out under conditions normally encountered in actual surveys of these types. Lectures will reinforce the laboratory work.
