This course will familiarize the student with the methods and accuracy of office calculations. The emphasis will be on solutions of problems often encountered in the practice of surveying. Topographic surveying methods including an introduction to photogrammetry will be included in the course content. State plane coordinates, celestial observations and least square adjustments will be an integral part of the course. The use of plane table surveying equipment, barometers, Rhodes arcs and other instruments will be introduced in this course.
