An in-depth study of alcohols, ethers, epoxides, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and their functional derivatives, amines, phenols, aryl halides, polynuclear aromatics, and heterocyclics. Carbanion reactions. A brief introduction to biomolecules and biochemistry. Organic qualitative lab with special snythesis.
