Description:
This course is designed for the advanced signer who wishes to expand their knowledge to be able to sign effectively in medical and legal settings. Medical and legal vocabulary used in contact signing will be emphasized. Students will use familar signs while learning medical and legal terms, as well as learning about client/ patient rights, ADA guidelines as applied to these settings, and techniques for evaluating and advocating for the Deaf individual as needed.
