Description:
This course is designed to intensify vocabulary used in contact signing. Students will use familiar signs and learn the difference in meaning with the use of non-manual markers and gestures, as well as refining and enhancing their skills for advanced conversations and storytelling and professional interpreting using appropriate body posture, facial expressions, feelings, and intonation. Students will spend 2 hours per week in a lab setting practicing skills learned. Course material will be delivered primarily with voice off.
