Description:
This course is a continuation of Sign Language I. Additional vocabulary will be introduced and arranged into complex sentence structure. Students will use familiar signs in addition to gaining new vocabulary, and will begin to expand skills beyond conversational signing to professional signing, particularly as it is applied to more formal settings which utilize interpreters, such as educational, medical, legal, or religious settings. Students will spend two hours per week in a lab setting practicing skills learned.
