This course introduces the student to the hardware operation and maintenance in today's personal computers (PC) The student will learn to identify the major systems involved in a PC by disassembling, analyzing, and reassembling an entry-level modern desktop PC. The students will learn to accomplish the maximum possible optimization of the computer with the current motherboard and chassis. Upgrading motherboards, central processing units, and memory will also be covered.
