Description:

This course, designed for beginners, will acquaint students with the fundamental operation of the IBM compatible personal computer. Course content includes an introduction to hardware/software; basic computer terminology; the "do's and don'ts" of computer use; MS-DOS and windows commands; and tips on purchasing, upgrading and maintaining a PC. Students will get hands-on experience with an introduction to applications for home, business and entertainment such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
