In this basic blueprint reading course, the student begins with a review of shop math, basic fractions and decimals. Instruction will include the meaning of different types of lines on a blueprint, dimensioning with fractions and decimal systems, and the application and meaning of various symbols found on a blueprint. Hands-on activities using actual blueprints will be used through out the semester.
