This course is designed to acquaint the student in the safe operation of mobile hydraulic cranes, wooden scaffold construction and ditch cribbing safety. The course work consists of the operation and theory of crane safety; hands-on training in designing, inspecting, and building a medium-duty wooden scaffold of limited height; and introduces the student to the hazards of working in trenches or ditches.
