Description:

This course, together with Abdominal Ultrasound I, will prepare the student to perform sonograms of the abdomen. Didactic instruction includes a review of liver/biliary tract and pancreas anatomy and function. Cross-sectional anatomy of these structures and their appearance on the sonogram will also be discussed. The course includes a discussion of specific abnormalities related to the abdominal organs.
