Introduces students to the major subject areas of race of relations, including issues on immigration policy; desgregation of public schools; affirmative action-public policy; religious practice of racial segregation; institutional racisml educational opportunity and inequality; discrimination by race, gender, and age; racial economics and racial politics; imperalism or exploitation of labor; and clas versus race in determining life chances and social upward mobility.
