This course is designed to intoduce the techniques, processes, aesthetic and utilitarian concerns associated wit wheel thrown vessels as a ceramic art form. Students will complete a number of original works and develop beginning skills on the potter's wheel. The curriculum will focus on earthenware and raku firing processes.
