Topics include the Constitution, federalism, civil liberties and civil rights, voting, the media, parties and groups, public opinion, Congress, the Presidency, the federal bureaucracy, and the courts. Students will write short essays and reports, study an interest group in-depth, participate in online public opinion polls, take part in online simulations of political situations, and become acquainted with numerous websites related to politics and government.
