Guided learning experiences in varied settings provide the student with opportunities to focus on normal reproductive process, childbearing, parenting, family dynamics, community health issues, application of growth and development concepts, and adult/pediatric health concerns. Clinical and skills lab experiences provide for the acquisition of skills and use of critical thinking to manage the care of multigenerational clients from multi-cultural backgrounds. Prerequisites: ENGL 1010, NET 1400, NET 1070, NET 1410 or NET 1350. Prerequisites or Corequisites: PSY 1310, COM 1010. (6 hours lecture; 9 hours lab)
