This course is a study of the concepts of stress and strain, stress-strain relations and Mohrs circle, static analysis of members, area moments of inertia, analysis of axially loaded members, torsion, and bending. Energy methods for normal and shearing stresses will be studied. Prerequisites: ERG 1110 or ERG 2520 and MATH 1910.
