Description:

This course covers assessment for children from ages birth to nine years of age. Both formal and informal instruments will be discussed with the emphasis on tools that can be used by teachers of young children. Considerations in choosing, administering, and reporting results of assessments will also be addressed. Field experiences during the course are required. Pre-requisite: ECED 2020 or approval of the appropriate Dean.
