This course is a study of developmentally appropriate practices and the teacher¿s role in supporting development of young children ages birth to nine. Curriculum planning including goals, environment, roles of teachers and parents, materials, and settings are emphasized. Field experiences during the course are required. Pre-requisites: ECED 1010 and 2010 or approval from the Director of Early Childhood Education or the Director of the Department of Education. (Formerly ECED 1020).
