Description:
This course provides extensive experience with the Java language and its run-time development environment. Topics covered include object-oriented programming methodology (abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism), specific characteristics provided by the applications and applets using even-driven programming, and advanced programming techniques in the exception handling and network interface. Prerequisites: CST 2400 or CST 2450 or permission of the appropriate department chair.
