Prerequisite: ITON 1725 or permission of instructor This course provides students with the skill needed to administer the Linux Operating System in both a client and a server environment. Students will install Linux and utility/application software; configure firewall, mail, and web services; create users and groups; and troubleshoot the operating system. This course is a continuation of ITON 1725 Introduction to the Linux/Unix Operating System and also helps students prepare for Linux+ certification. (3.25 contact hours: 0.75 lecture, 2.5 lab)
