Prerequisite: ITIS 1000 or ITIS 1005 or MECT 1000 or permission of instructor This course provides students with an overview of using the Windows operating environment to manage and interact with the microcomputer. Topics include file management techniques, the Control Panel to customize the Windows environment, object linking and embedding, managing hardware devices, backup and restore strategies, and using Windows administrative and management tools. (1.5 contact hours: 0.5 lecture, 1 lab)
