Prerequisite: HLTH 1210, HLTH 1220 (can be taken concurrently) This course, in conjunction with HLTH 1230 ICD-9-CM Coding, addresses specialized methodologies necessary to correctly submit insurance claim forms, including using current procedural terminology (CPT) with emphasis on the basic skills required to code medical services and procedures for the physician office.
