Description:
Technical communication stresses the functional importance of communication in business management and technical fields and teaches techniques for successful communiation in those fields. All types of business communications, in addition to a variety of technical reporting formats, are covered. The course includes a study of written, oral, and nonverbal communication skills and also places emphasis on research, ethics and intercultural awareness in communication. Prerequisite: ENGL 1101 with a "C" or better. 3-0-3.
