This course provides a basic introduction to the fundamentals of installing and maintaining microcomputers. The topics included in the course are identifying components, safety, installing options and memory chips, installing expernal peripherals, troubleshooting techniques, preventive maintenance, and repairing minor system problems. Prerequisite: CITP 1010 or instructor approval. 1-2-2.
