This course is a continuation of Organic Chemistry I. Major emphasis is given to aromaticity and the structure, properties, synthesis, and reactivity of organic derivatives including alcohol, thiols, ethers, epoxides, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and its derivatives, amines, and phenols. A brief introduction to the biomolecules is also included. Prerequisite: CHEM 2411. 3-3-4
