This course of instruction is designed to prepare the student to safely prepare and administer medications. The course includes a review of mathematics and calculations of doses. Also included are resource materials usage, administration of medications in a simulated clinical environment, drugs and related substances, and the effects of medications on the body. Prerequisites: PSYC 0100, ENGL 0100, MATH 0100, & CGCC 1101. 3-4-2.
