Strongly recommended: Concurrent enrollment in THEA 201. Also, READ 099 if required by reading placement exam or if required by reading level. A course in vocal anatomy, physiology, and phonetics as well as the exploration of how the voice and body work. Designed to develop the actor's awareness, relaxation, flexibility, and responsiveness in order to communicate openly and expressively. This course may be taken four times. 54 lecture hours, 36 lab hours.
