Strongly recommended: READ 099 if required by reading placement exam or if required by reading level. A study of the Geologic materials, processes, and history in the State of California. Primary emphasis is on its unique rocks and minerals, its structure, and of the physical and chemical processes which have and will continue to shape it. Course will include three weekend trips to selected locales in California. A transportation/activities fee will be charged. This course may be taken two times. 54 lecture hours, 54 lab hours.
