Prerequisite: COS 141. Strongly recommended: READ 099 if required by reading placement exam or if required by reading level. A continuation of the science and theory of professional nail care techniques and procedures introduced in Cosmetology 141. Lectures, demonstrations, and practical experience in the following areas: natural nail care, artificial nail enhancements, products, procedures and safety measures for the professional cosmetologist. 40 lecture hours, 104 lab hours.
