Prerequisite: COS 172A. Strongly recommended: ENGL 099 or READ 099 if required by English placement or if required by English level. A continuation of the science and theory of professional hairstyling techniques and procedures following COS 172A. Lectures, demonstrations, and practical experience in the following areas: Hair care, scalp diseases/disorders, advanced wet/thermal hairstyling, advanced long hair design, and creative artistry in hair design. Part two of a two-part course. 40 lecture, 104 lab hours.
