Strongly recommended: READ 099 if required by reading placement exam or if required by reading level. An introductory course of skin care treatments, hair removal, make-up, application, anatomy and physiology. Disease and disorders of the skin, cosmetic chemistry, electrical current and modalities for skin care and disinfecting. There is a materials fee associated with the class. Part one of a two-part course. This course may be taken one time. 90 lecture hours, 270 lab hours.
