Prerequisite: AUTO 295 or one year of work experience in the automotive field with an emphasis on engine machining or repair. Strongly recommended: READ 099 if required by reading placement exam or if required by reading level. A course designed to teach the skills necessary to develop a cylinder head for total performance. Emphasis will be placed on cylinder head development and reconditioning, head CCing, and basic flowbench operation. 54 lecture hours, 54 lab hours.
