Prerequisite: SIGN 205 with a grade of "B" or better, or consent of instructor Audit by consent of instructor only. A continuation of American Sign Language I, providing students with information on sign language colloquialisms used in conversational signing. Class work will provide students with a summary of information currently available dealing with the understanding of ASL grammatical structure and its sociological usage. Incorporated into the class, a required language lab is designed to accelerate, reinforce, and support American Sign Language I The lab portion of the class incorporates videotaped, functional-usage drills, and open-dialog sessions.
