Prerequisites: EMT Basic and Intermediate Licenses and EMS 115 Concurrent enrollment: EMS 201L This course reinforces skills and knowledge learned in the EMT-Basic and EMT-Intermediate courses. Students enrolled in EMT-Paramedic I will examine issues in the pre-hospital environment, gain understanding and advanced treatment modalities of respiratory conditions, treatment of shock, and administration of pharmacological treatments routinely used by Paramedics in the field.
