Out-of-class computer work required. An introduction to electronic spreadsheets. Using microcomputer spreadsheet software, students will learn techniques to support business decision-making. Students will learn basic spreadsheet functions to enter, manipulate, and store numerical information for business analysis, modeling, and forecasting. Coverage includes intermediate features and commands, spreadsheet design, mathematical formulas and functions, and “what-if” analysis. Preparation course for Microsoft Certified Application Specialist—Excel certification.
