Out of class computer work required. This course focuses on the objectives for the Network+ certification. Students will be taught the skills necessary to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, install, operate and configure basic network infrastructure. Concepts will include networking technologies, basic design principles, and wiring standards. Students will learn to use networking tools and software. Course covers CompTIA Network+ certification topics. Course cannot be taken as an elective nor substituted for CIS 102 on the Information Technology - Networking degree or certificate.
