Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in AT 100 This course is designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain and service manual transmissions, transaxles, and drive axles. Through classroom work, demonstrations, and lab work, students become familiar with the theories, principles, and operational procedures of manual transmissions, transaxles, and drive axles. Students also develop skills in using and caring for tools, fastening devices, and precision measuring instruments required to properly maintain and service manual transmissions, transaxles, and drive axles.
